HIKE DESCRIPTION: In our last ASB hike we explored the area near Turo Tagamanent to the southeast of Aiguafreda. This time we headed to the northeast along the Martinet River. In addition to wonderful views of the Cingles de Berti, some of the things we saw along the way are: the church Aiguafreda de Dalt - established in 898, the remains date from the 12th century, the ruins of three masias - el Sauc (first documented in 1403), Can Casanoves and Can Serra de l'Arca (18th cen.).
